Not medical advice
ERWaitTimes.ca shows wait times and facts about ERs and urgent care centres. It doesn't diagnose, treat or advise on any condition, and it can't tell you whether you need emergency care.
In an emergency, call 911
Call 911 for chest pain or pressure, signs of a stroke, severe bleeding, trouble breathing, a serious injury, or someone who will not wake up. Don't drive yourself, and don't stop to check a wait time.
For health advice
Call Health Link at 811, HealthLink BC at 811, Health Links – Info Santé at 204-788-8200 and Health811 at 811 to talk to a registered nurse, any time. They can help you decide where to go. You can also ask a pharmacist or your family doctor.
Wait times are estimates
- Every wait shown is an estimate published by a health system. It can change within minutes.
- Everyone is assessed on arrival (triage), and the most urgent patients are always seen first, so your wait may be shorter or longer than the number shown.
- A number can be out of date; each page shows when it was last checked. See how we measure ER wait times.
Don't delay care
Never delay getting care, or travel further than is safe, because of a wait time on this site. If you are worried, go to the nearest emergency department or call 911.

Do not check wait times or drive yourself if you have chest pain, signs of a stroke, severe bleeding or trouble breathing. Paramedics can start treatment on the way to hospital.
