Information only

ERWaitTimes.ca provides general information about emergency department and urgent care wait times. It is not medical advice, and it is not a service of any hospital or health system. See the medical disclaimer.

Wait times are estimates published by health systems. They change quickly, may be out of date by the time you arrive, and the most urgent patients are always seen first.

No warranty

We work to keep the site accurate and available, but it is provided “as is”, without any warranty that the information is complete, current or error-free, or that the site will always be available.

Source data and attribution

Wait time data and facility information belong to the health systems and organizations that publish them, and are shown under their terms with attribution. ERWaitTimes.ca is independent and not affiliated with them. See where our data comes from.

Acceptable use

  • You are welcome to use the site, link to any page and share it.
  • Don't use automated tools in a way that places a heavy load on the site or disrupts it for others.
  • Don't present the site's content as your own or as coming from a health system.

Intellectual property

The site's design, text and code belong to Mustafa Hussain (ER Wait Times), except source data and photos, which belong to their owners and are credited on the pages that use them.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Mustafa Hussain (ER Wait Times) is not liable for any loss or harm arising from use of the site or reliance on its information, including decisions about where or when to seek care. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the review date above shows when they last changed. Questions go through the contact page. How we handle information is covered by the privacy policy.
