An estimate for someone arriving now, not a guaranteed wait. It is not the total time at the hospital. Sicker patients are seen first. How Alberta Health Services defines it
The colours are set by us, not by Alberta Health Services. Under 2 hours is the Canadian goal for even the least urgent patients. cihi.ca

Cochrane Community Health Centre is a urgent care centre in Cochrane, Alberta. Urgent care: All ages.
Cochrane Community Health Centre is an Alberta Health Services centre in Cochrane, about 18 km west of Calgary's city limits along Highway 1A, and the town's primary health care facility. It officially opened in November 2010, bringing more than 20 services under one roof, including home care, public health, addiction and mental health, and rehabilitation.
Urgent care began here on February 15, 2011; before that, residents travelled to Calgary or Canmore for it. It is open 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily, including statutory holidays, for patients of all ages, and treats sudden but non-life-threatening problems such as broken bones, sprains, lacerations, asthma, dehydration, pain and infections. A lab, X-ray and urgent mental health help are on site.
Cochrane's urgent care is not an emergency department. If someone has chest pain, signs of a stroke or a severe injury, call 911. Outside opening hours, or when you're not sure what care you need, Health Link at 811 can advise.

Alberta Health Services publishes it as "Estimated wait to see a physician": An estimate of how long it might take from an assessment by a triage nurse in the emergency department or urgent care to being seen by a physician. It does not represent the total time patients may spend at the hospital, and it does not apply to critically ill or injured patients, who are always seen quickly. We check it every 5 minutes. People with the most urgent needs are always seen first, so your own wait may be shorter or longer.

"Nearby urgent care wait times right now", at the end of this page, lists the nearest tracked sites with their current waits. These are the nearest facilities in our tracked dataset, not necessarily every local care option. A shorter estimate is not a recommendation to travel farther. If it is an emergency, call 911.
