An estimate for someone arriving now, not a guaranteed wait. It is not the total time at the hospital. Sicker patients are seen first. How BCHS Willett Urgent Care Centre defines it
The colours are set by us, not by BCHS Willett Urgent Care Centre. Under 2 hours is the Canadian goal for even the least urgent patients. cihi.ca

View all departmentsWillett Hospital is a hospital in Paris, Ontario. Urgent care.
The Willett is the Brant Community Healthcare System's site at 238 Grand River Street North in Paris. First built in 1922, it joined Brantford General Hospital to form BCHS in 1999, and today houses the Willett Urgent Care Centre and a 31-bed transitional care unit.
The Urgent Care Centre is open 9 am to 9 pm on weekdays and 10 am to 6 pm on weekends, and sees about 20,000 patients a year. It treats non-emergency problems such as coughs, colds, sore throats and ear infections, urinary tract infections, sprains and strains, suspected fractures (if you can walk), mild to moderate asthma and rashes, with same-day X-ray and bloodwork. There are no appointments: patients are seen roughly in the order they arrive, with the most severe first, and registration may close early when the centre reaches capacity. It is not an emergency department: for major trauma, pregnancy problems or any emergency, call 911 or go to Brantford General Hospital.

BCHS Willett Urgent Care Centre publishes it as "Estimated wait for a new patient": The wait time indicator is an estimate of the current wait time for a new patient. BCHS notes that the unpredictable nature of the clinic may result in longer wait times for individual patients. We check it every 10 minutes. People with the most urgent needs are always seen first, so your own wait may be shorter or longer.

"Nearby urgent care wait times right now", at the end of this page, lists the nearest tracked sites with their current waits. These are the nearest facilities in our tracked dataset, not necessarily every local care option. A shorter estimate is not a recommendation to travel farther. If it is an emergency, call 911.
