We check it every 5 minutes and show its own label for the number. How this page works
An estimate for someone arriving now, not a guaranteed wait. It is not the total time at the hospital. Sicker patients are seen first. How WRHA Urgent Care defines it
The colours are set by us, not by WRHA Urgent Care. Under 2 hours is the Canadian goal for even the least urgent patients. cihi.ca

View all departmentsSeven Oaks General Hospital is a hospital in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Urgent care. This service is open 24 hours a day.
Seven Oaks General Hospital is a community hospital at 2300 McPhillips Street in northern Winnipeg, founded in 1981 to serve the north of the city and the surrounding area. It is part of the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority, and a hub for kidney health, general and orthopedic surgery, and family medicine. Its emergency department became an urgent care centre during Winnipeg's reorganisation of hospital services.
The Urgent Care Centre is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for unexpected but non-life-threatening problems that need same-day treatment, such as fevers, flu symptoms, rashes or infections, dehydration, cuts that won't stop bleeding, or a limb that might be broken or sprained. Its entrance is at the McPhillips Street end of the hospital. Patients are seen by medical need, not order of arrival. For a life-threatening emergency, call 911.

WRHA Urgent Care publishes it as "Wait to see a physician, PA or NP": The time in hours between being registered and seeing a physician, physician assistant or nurse practitioner. Due to rapidly changing demands and the need to see the sickest patients first, WRHA notes that your own wait time may be more or less than the time displayed. We check it every 5 minutes. People with the most urgent needs are always seen first, so your own wait may be shorter or longer.

"Nearby urgent care wait times right now", at the end of this page, lists the nearest tracked sites with their current waits. These are the nearest facilities in our tracked dataset, not necessarily every local care option. A shorter estimate is not a recommendation to travel farther. If it is an emergency, call 911.
